This issue of Paisea is one of those issues which are slightly different in content and move away from the habitual work of the landscape architect, approaching the boundaries of other disciplines. In this case the disciplines in question are related to the world of art in all its forms. To approach both the art of the landscape project and different ways of introducing art into the landscape, we have tried to avoid complex classifications and labels, and simply to feature interventions that are fresh, curious, confident and fun: projects that show us the great potential of using creative arts when working with the landscape. Hopefully, reading and enjoying this issue will help all of us to free ourselves of burdens and impositions and to see how much more a project can express if it is the result of a rich creative process.
The projects featured here are the work of artists, landscape architects, architects, etc, professionals in different fields who, either through their particular vision or their successful collaborations, approach landscape intervention in a very different way, with results that are always interesting and often surprising.
